Do you permanently remove the content or just push it down?
Our first goal is always permanent removal. This means getting the content deleted from the original website or de-indexed from search engines like Google. When successful, the content is either completely gone or no longer visible in search results. This type of removal offers long-term protection and ensures the material cannot be easily found again.
Permanent removal is possible in many cases, such as outdated news articles, court records, social media posts, or personal data published without consent. We use direct outreach, legal requests, and policy-based takedowns to remove content at the source or have it delisted from search engine indexes.
However, not all content can be fully removed. Some platforms may refuse removal requests, or the content may not violate any specific policies. In those situations, we use suppression. This involves creating and promoting positive, relevant content that outranks the unwanted material. As a result, the harmful content gets pushed off the first few pages of search results, making it much harder for others to find.
While suppression is not the same as deletion, it is highly effective in reducing visibility. Most people never look beyond the first page of search results, so suppressed content often fades out of public view.
We will always explain your options clearly before starting. Whether removal, de-indexing, or suppression is the best fit depends on the content, platform, and your goals. Our priority is to reduce harm, protect your reputation, and help you take back control of your online presence.
